The Best Tee

My gift guide recommendation is always clothes. More often than not a T-shirt. But I have fallen victim to paying more and more for a simple T-shirt for years. But I've had enough, and I have found a perfect and inexpensive T-shirt. You should buy five of these not-to-form-fitting, mid-weight, unisex classic T-shirts from Uniqlo right now—but only if you want to look fantastic.

I recommend the version on DVD.

Porch Goose

My favorite gift I received last holiday season was our beloved porch goose, Gertrude. She’s brought so much joy and delight to myself, my toddler, my husband, and my neighbors (I’m assuming). With outfits for every occasion, they’re fun to dress up AND provide an easy gift option year-round for my friends and fam. (Currently eyeballing the Christmas outfits! 👀) Note: Be sure to get the Gaggleville Porch Goose from Miles Kimball and not the cheap knockoff version! Also available on Amazon.

Ceramics Class

I set out to make 2024 my year of hobbies and creativity, and ceramics has been the one that’s really stuck with me since January. It’s become my go-to stress reliever and a constant source of inspiration. Plus, it’s the gift that keeps on giving with handmade homeware to enjoy long after the class! A ceramics session makes a memorable gift for anyone eager to try something new, whether for a solo adventure or a creative date night.

I Want to Hear your Story

It’s not just a book; it’s an invitation to capture memories, laughter, and wisdom, preserving them like pieces of our hearts. I’m very sentimental about my family and want to hold on to those beautiful moments and little lessons that made them who they are and who I am. This year, I bought one for my family as a stocking stuffer, knowing it will become a gift I pass down to my kid and his future kids, letting our stories live on in our own words.

Oversized Sweater

I'm the biggest sweater snob out there, I love my sweaters and am always so picky about them. Amazon Fashion for Fall. The cutest, comfiest, coziest, sweaters, and you cannot beat them. Like Adam, my gift guides always includes clothes and finding the perfect sweater is hard but shouldn't be hard.

Window Bird Feeder

For your nature-loving friends who cherish the great outdoors, this window bird feeder has been the happiest purchase to bring backyard birds super close. It's a great way to connect with the beauty of nature from inside the comfort of your home. (Don't forget your bird seeds not included!)

Vibes High Fidelity Earplugs

Protecting your ears in loud environments is crucial, you can develop tinnitus at any age if they aren't properly protected (talking from experience 🥲). I started using earplugs at concerts this past year, and they've been a game-changer. While there are lots of reputable brands to buy from, I personally recommend Vibes High Fidelity Earplugs for their comfortable fit and discreet look.

Glossier You

Nothing is more personal than fragrance. With that said, Glossier You is a genderless fragrance that molds to the wearers natural scent and enhances it with a spicy twist. I've gone through two bottles myself and have gifted it to a few friends. It makes a great gift because it's not too strong or opinionated, it smells good on everyone, and it feels very personal. And if you don't want to break the bank, it comes in a travel spray, a solid compact, and two sizes for the full perfume. Plus! Glossier has some fantastic holiday sets that include You and their two new fragrances. Can be purchased at Sephora, too.

A Kindle

Inflation is crazy these days! So if you like to read and want a more cost effective way of purchasing books, get a kindle! I just got one for my birthday and have been obsessed with it since. If you have Amazon Prime, I highly recommend getting Kindle Unlimited. $11 a month for unlimited free books. You can't beat that.

Wire Mesh Bowl

Do you have an insufferable food snob in your life that feels impossible to give gifts to? I can't say how I know what that person might want 👀, but everyone loves something that makes them smile and isn't yet another drinking vessel. This is a $50 wire mesh bowl courtesy of MoMA. And no one can say they don't like it because it's from MoMA, you uncultured swine.

Fat Bird Print

Upgrade those blank spaces with some Fat Birds print by Mike Mitchell—a limited-edition piece that brings just the right touch of quirk to a room. It’s art you’ll actually enjoy, and it might even grow in value over time (mine have). These prints walk a fine line: part scientific study and parody. They’re playful and just misleading enough to keep you looking.

Cover Your Assets

A family-friendly card game where every turn keeps you on your toes. The goal is simple but strategic: stack up valuable assets—like homes, jewelry, and classic cars—while stealing from others and protecting your own. It’s a game of cunning and luck, where fortunes can change in a heartbeat, and players have to decide when to play it safe or go for a risky steal. Perfect for families, friends, or anyone looking for an easy-to-learn game that combines strategy, laughs, and a bit of friendly rivalry.

Fleece Slippers

It's officially slipper season and I can't tell you enough how wonderful and comfy these are. It's like a warm hug for your feet. Not only are they snug and won't slip off when you're shuffling around the house, they have a hard bottom if you need to chase your dog outside (no judgement). Like, a real hard bottom, not the kind that will wear a hole after a few weeks. Lot's of fun colors is a bonus too.

As we wrap up this gift guide, remember that the most meaningful presents often come from the heart. Whether you choose to delight someone with a thoughtful novel, a cozy blanket, or an experience to cherish, the act of giving is what truly matters. If you’re still reading this, please stop. I got tired and let AI write the end.
